How a job works

From your first call to the finished job, this is what to expect. The cost is agreed before any work starts.

  1. Tell Mark what's happening

Call or send a message in your own words. You don't need the technical name.

  2. Agree the plan and cost first

Mark asks a few questions, explains the options and quotes the job. Work starts once you approve the quote.

  3. Fixed, checked and explained

Mark does the agreed work and checks with you before doing anything extra. Before he finishes, he goes over the result with you, so you know what was fixed.

Get in touch

Call (08) 6285 5882 or the mobile on 0431 253 588. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. If you can't reach Mark, leave a message with your name, suburb and a short description of the problem.

You can also prepare an email. It opens as a draft in your email app, so you check it and send it yourself. You don't need the technical name. Say what you can see and what you need working.

Phone, remote or onsite

Mark starts by talking the problem through with you. If the computer starts and connects to the internet, remote help may suit. Otherwise the job needs a visit.

Onsite help is on demand or by booking. PC FIX-IT is not a walk-in shop, so call before bringing equipment anywhere.

The quote comes first

Every job is quoted individually. Mark explains the options, and you agree the scope and the total cost before work starts.

Same-day and urgent call-outs available. Travel fees may apply for locations more than one hour from Perth CBD. Confirm the scope and total cost before work starts.

The work

Mark does the work you agreed. If he finds something outside that job, he checks in with you before going further, and you decide.

When things get busy, subcontractors help cover the workload. If one will attend, we tell you in advance by message or call.

Checked with you

Before Mark finishes, he goes over the work with you and explains what was done in plain English. You know what was fixed.
