Computer repairs in Scarborough
Computer repairs and home network help in Scarborough, City of Stirling, for houses and beachside apartments. Onsite on demand or by booking.
About Scarborough
Scarborough is a coastal suburb in the City of Stirling. The City says it was named after the North Yorkshire beach resort, and that redevelopment along the beach frontage began in the mid 1980s. Houses and apartments both get help here. PC FIX-IT has no Scarborough shop, so a visit comes to your address or a remote session is set up.
Can you help with Wi-Fi in a Scarborough apartment?
Yes. The City notes that recent unit developments on the coastal strip are multi-storey. For an apartment visit, give the building entry, the unit number and where visitors can park. Say whether the internet arrives through a building system or your own nbn service. nbn answers that per address on its rollout map, which may lag in upgrade areas.
For new routers, mesh Wi-Fi or cabling, see home network setup.
Is there a library in Scarborough with public computers?
Yes. The City says a library and community recreation centre sit near the eastern boundary of Scarborough. Stirling Libraries PCs are free for members in 30 minute bookings. The Scarborough branch runs Be Connected Tech Help on Mondays and Tuesdays, booked on (08) 9205 7420.
If your own computer has slowed to a crawl, try slow computer help first.
Do you have a shop near Scarborough Beach?
No. PC FIX-IT works from Swan View with no walk-in counter. Call with your address and the fault, and we will arrange a visit or remote help.
