About Joondalup
Joondalup is the city centre of the City of Joondalup. The City calls it the strategic economic centre of the northern corridor, home to Joondalup Health Campus, Edith Cowan University, North Metropolitan TAFE and the WA Police Academy. PC FIX-IT has no office there. Visits are arranged to your workplace or home, and remote help suits when the computer still connects.
Do you visit offices and shops in the Joondalup city centre?
Ask. The City of Joondalup says its four retail precincts drive over $5 billion in retail spend a year. For an office or shop visit, tell us how many desks are affected, who manages your IT now, and whether the fault is one PC or the whole network. Name the person who can approve the work and let us in.
Offices moving desks or adding staff can read about office and workstation setup. For a fault on the day, there is onsite business IT support.
Can Joondalup Library help me set up a new phone or laptop?
Yes. Joondalup Library, at 102 Boas Avenue, runs free Tech Help sessions of one hour for a new phone, tablet or laptop. Book through the branch on 9400 4707. Its public computers are open to members and non-members, with metered internet time, Office software, paid printing and saving to USB. For a longer visit the City points to the Reid Promenade Car Park, about 150 m from the library.
When the job is moving files and email to the new machine, see new computer setup.
Can you work alongside our existing IT provider in Joondalup?
Yes. Tell us who looks after your systems now and what they cover. A visit can handle the fault at hand without changing your current arrangements.
