Choose your desktop deliberately
Fedora Workstation uses GNOME. Fedora also offers KDE Plasma and other desktop choices. Try the layout you are considering: opening apps, switching windows, connecting displays and finding settings. Desktop preference is personal; it is more useful to test a normal task than choose from a screenshot.
Check the tools you work with
List your development tools, work VPN, conferencing software and any specialist equipment. Confirm that the organisation you connect to allows Linux. Graphics drivers and some media capabilities can involve additional setup, so mention your graphics card and the formats you use before installation.

Is Fedora only for developers?
No. It is a general-purpose Linux desktop as well. Whether it suits you depends on your applications, hardware and willingness to learn the desktop and maintain updates.
Is Nobara the same as Fedora?
No. Nobara uses Fedora packages but has its own changes, repositories and support instructions. Follow the documentation for the system you actually install.
Can Fedora be used for gaming?
Yes, with compatible games and suitable graphics support. Plan Steam, drivers and any extra setup around your hardware. Compare the gaming options here if a controller-focused experience is your main aim.
