Is Garuda a good first Linux system?
It can suit someone who wants to learn and maintain a rolling desktop. If you prefer fewer major changes, compare Mint or Ubuntu LTS first. We can discuss what you want to manage yourself.
Does Garuda guarantee better gaming performance?
No. Your GPU, driver, game and settings determine the result. A gaming-focused selection of tools is useful, but it is not a benchmark for your PC.
Can I use my existing Steam library?
Your account remains yours. Plan local saves and storage separately, and allow for downloading games again. Keeping a Windows-formatted library does not guarantee a trouble-free Linux setup.
